SYNOPSIS: How do you know when you've found "The
One"? When Michael Blake, the owner of a successful
New York catering business, spots the beautiful Gail from
across a crowded room, he is immediately smitten and decides
to send over a bottle of champagne. His romantic gesture
backfires when Gail's pro-hockey player fiancée arrives
and in a jealous moment, punches Michael.

a peace offering, the couple ask Michael to cater their

SYNOPSIS:
In Washington, D.C., in the year 2054, murder has been eliminated.

- is seen by "Pre-Cogs," three psychic beings

Chief John Anderton (Tom Cruise). Destroyed by a tragic

Pre-Crime works.
Anderton
has no reason to doubt it ... until he becomes its #1 suspect.
As
the head of the unit, Anderton is the first to see the images
as they flow from the liquid suspension chamber where the

SYNOPSIS:
It's January, the start of a new semester at exclusive Colby
University nestled in the Carolina countryside. Near the
campus, four young women prepare themselves for the final
semester of their senior year. In
the dingy apartment she shares with her mother, Alicia Glazer
organizes her school supplies. She is plain as well as poor.
In
an exclusive row house on the other side of town, three
beautiful and privileged young coeds start their day. Sensuous
Hadley Weston luxuriates in a bubble bath with a margarita
in one hand and her drug of choice in the other. Hadley's
junk food loving, bulimic roommate Julianne McIntyre wolfs
down a huge bowl of cereal and immediately runs into the
bathroom to throw it up. Oversexed Sydney Connors slowly
wakes up next to her boyfriend, Josh, and some poor townie
who is shocked to discover how she spent the night.
As
the semester begins, Alicia and Hadley are paired to work
on a sociology senior thesis project entitled, "Lead,
Follow or Get Out of the Way." At first rejected, Alicia
realizes that she can't complete the sociology class thesis
without Hadley. Alicia goes to Hadley's house and waits
outside trying to get up enough nerve to crash the Valentine's
Day party going on inside. Hadley sees Alicia through the
window and goes out to get her. Hadley, too, has come to
the realization that they need each other to complete the
project. As Alicia goes through the row house door, her
world changes forever.
Finally
accepted into Hadley's clique, Alicia is introduced to a
world of privilege, recreational drugs and dangerous thrills.
But her attempts to become one of group ultimately result
in her hospitalization.
As
the local sheriff, Artie Bonner, tries to determine the
chain of events that led to Alicia's collapse, his investigation
casts a shadow of responsibility over the untouchable, affluent
young women.

love story that covers a pivotal time in the life of the
beloved author of the Little House book series as she leaves
the secure, familiar arms of her family to begin a new life

Memories
of her blossoming adulthood in the Dakota territory overcome
a mature Laura Ingalls Wilder in 1944 as she travels back
to the region, from which she had moved more than 50 years
earlier, to speak to the South Dakota Historical Society
in DeSmet about the making of a writer.
In
her mind, it is again 1881 at the Ingalls' shanty on their
Dakota territory homestead claim, where raging prairie fires,
deadly blizzards and an occasional loose reckless horse
are seen as adventures by the dauntless 16-year-old Laura.
She savors her time at home with her parents and three sisters
-- and the strong bond she shares with her father from whom
she inherited her pioneer spirit. The part of Laura that
yearns for new experiences is delighted by the arrival of
Almanzo Wilder, a kind, intriguing and handsome man in his
late 20s who settles a nearby claim with his brother. His
presence and mysterious name intrigue Laura, and Almanzo
makes her aware that he is equally interested in her.
The
family's financial situation forces Laura to market her
knowledge and writing prowess by becoming a teacher at a
school 30 miles away. For the first time, Laura becomes
keenly aware that her cherished life with her family, highlighted
by her father's singing and fiddle playing, will not last
forever.
Almanzo's
visits help Laura cope with her life at the new settlement,
but when her scheduled two terms end and he proposes, the
adventurous Laura finds it more difficult than she imagined
to commit to a life with him -- tied to his farmland. But
their love overcomes her doubts and ultimately helps them
through a series of extremely difficult periods in their
new marriage.
