Meredith
Monroe was an only child born in Houston Texas on December
20th. When she was two years old her parents divorced and
Meredith spent most of her younger years with he mother
Judith who works as client liaison for Lucent Technologies
in Hinsdale Illinois a small town with a papulation of just
17,000 people west of Chicago, Meredith spent summers with
her father Jerroll in Texas and Florida. her dad often moved
a lot as he was a computer company manager.
After graduating from high school, (Hinsdale Central High
School Meredith moved to New York to be a model and attend
college. she decided to act in 1995 appearing in print and
commercials . Meredith's earliest commercial was for L'Oreal
hair care on t.v She has appeared in over thirty commercials
and has been on the covers of books and game covers.
Meredith's first role was when she got the role of Tracy
Dairken on the ABC series Dangerous Minds. Unfortunately
the role was short lived , Meredith only appearing in 3
out of the 17 episodes before the show was cancelled.
Meredith was recognized for this role and helped her gain
many guest spot roles, but in 1998 an opportunity of lifetime
began. Meredith landed the role as Andie Mcphee in 1998
in the wb smash show 'Dawson's Creek.'
Kevin Williamson said "We had a hard time casting the
role of Andie but we und an amazing girl." After appearing
in the show her popularity started to soar. She even moved
to Wilmington North Carolina to film the show.
In 1999, Meredith starred in the CBS made for television
production "Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura
Ingalls Wilder." she is now appearing in many new movies
including "New Best Friend" which are being released
in 2002.
Meredith is currently linked romantically to New York massage
therapist and student "Steve". They are married
and she is represented by celebrity management films of
James/Levy and Jacobson

Meredith
Monroe went a high school called Hinsdale Central High School.
At school, Meredith did competitive swimming which made
her feel uncomfortable as it was pressuring. Plus, Meredith
didn't like everyone's eyes on her, Mere says she always
hit her head on the wall
Meredith didn't really get into the student government -
like Andie it wasn't her forte. She did things like making
football and basketball teams. She would also make cookies
for bake sales.
Meredith says that Maths, Science, boys and of course the
swim team stressed her out the post. Students always asked
for help in all other subjects excluding maths and science
as Meredith received very good grades for her third and
fourth year of high school - her first and second year results
weren't too fantastic!
Meredith also loved shopping for school supplies. She says
she organised everything, binders, notebooks etc. Meredith
colour coded everything.
After leaving high school, Meredith went to college and
took a few classes before going to New York to study acting
making a living by modelling.

show, her alter-ego called Captain Fun makes everything surrounding
